Lee Livingston

Lee Livingston grew up in the city of Chicago, where he was raised by his grandparents. His grandfather, a city worker who also ran a small real estate business and a shoeshine stand, showed Lee what it means to pour yourself into something—day after day—not just to provide for your family, but to build a legacy that lasts. Watching his grandfather care for his customers like neighbors left an impression on Lee that has guided him ever since.

That upbringing shaped Lee’s approach as a leader: lead with respect, listen first, and treat people like family. Over the years, he’s built a reputation for rolling up his sleeves, earning trust, and helping teams grow stronger together. Lee believes that a business’s greatest asset isn’t found on a balance sheet—it’s the people who show up every day to make it run.

At Trident Equity Group, Lee is focused on honoring the years of hard work and dedication that owners have poured into their businesses. He brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach—taking the time to understand what makes each company unique and ensuring its people and culture remain at the heart of its next chapter.

Outside of work, Lee enjoys discovering new hobbies (from running to cooking to exploring Chicago’s vibrant neighborhoods), and he’s passionate about mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Reo Williams

Reo Williams grew up in Champaign, Illinois, in a family where grit and entrepreneurship were a way of life. His great-grandparents migrated north during the Great Migration to build a better future, planting the seeds for generations of business owners. From carpentry and mortuary services to a daycare and event-planning business, Reo’s family ran ventures that supported their neighbors and built a legacy that still stands today.

Those experiences shaped Reo’s belief that a business isn’t just about profit—it’s about people, relationships, and community impact. At Trident Equity Group, he brings a calm, thoughtful approach to honoring that legacy, taking the time to listen, understand, and lead with care.

Reo is known for his steady presence, respect for owners and their teams, and his commitment to preserving what makes each business special. A history buff at heart, he loves exploring stories across art, culture, and music—always curious about how the past shapes the future.
